A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive painting masks for the road wheels from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for building the model of the Soviet medium tank T-34/85 in 1:35 scale. The masks follow the border between the rubber tire band and the metal disc of the road wheel, so you spray the two in different colors with a clean circular edge. It is not a model of the tank but an accessory for painting; the basic kit has to be bought separately.
The T-34/85 was the most widely used Soviet medium tank of the closing stage of the Second World War, armed with an 85 mm gun in a larger three-man turret. The row of road wheels with rubber tire bands is one of its characteristic features, and painting them cleanly lifts the finished model noticeably.
Clean and degrease the wheels before the masks go on. Press the mask onto the band around its whole circumference and spray in thin coats, so that the paint does not creep under the edge. Peel the mask off before the paint hardens completely, for the crispest possible circular edge.
The accessory is supplied on its own. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
