A set of metal, white metal, assembled track links from Friulmodel, intended for the Hungarian vehicle of the T-44 TAS series, or rather for the T-44M TAS Rohamlöveg tank destroyer, in 1:35 scale. It is NOT a kit of the vehicle but a detail accessory replacing the tracks from the box of a model. The individual metal links are joined with the wire supplied, which forms the pins and lets the track work.
Rohamlöveg means assault gun in Hungarian. The T-44M TAS Rohamlöveg project was a Hungarian design for a tank destroyer from the end of the Second World War, close in concept to the German Jagdpanther, with the gun in the front armor plate. Metal workable tracks raise the realism of the running gear, they hold their shape while being weathered and they follow the road wheels well. The set is intended for a matching model in the same scale.
Clean the links up, assemble them on the wire pins and secure the ends. Degrease the metal and go over it with a primer for metal. For a realistic result use a dark base, dry brushing on the steel edges and earth pigments for mud and dust.
This is a detail accessory, metal track links, not a complete model. The base model of the vehicle, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
