A resin set of a replacement turret of sharpened shape for the Hungarian Toldi light tank in the Toldi II (B40) version. The package holds cast resin parts of the turret and a turned metal barrel of the main gun. It is a detail accessory for advanced modelers that replaces the turret of the base kit, not a complete model of the vehicle.
The Toldi was a Hungarian light tank of the Second World War period, derived in design from the Swedish Landsverk L-60. It served with the Hungarian armored units above all on the Eastern Front. The Toldi II version was among the further developed treatments of the type. A more accurate shape of the turret and a metal barrel raise the fidelity of the resulting model over the parts of an ordinary plastic kit.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and sand them over with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the metal barrel before gluing it in. We recommend a primer before painting for even coverage of the resin as well as the metal.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is an accessory to a plastic kit, not a standalone model. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
