Aber tracks for FT-17 tanks in 1:35 scale is a photo-etched metal set of workable individual-link tracks, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
An Aber photo-etched metal detail set in 1:35 scale. It is a complete set for building true individual-link tracks for the Renault FT-17 light tank. Assembled metal tracks look far more realistic than the one-piece plastic or rubber tracks from the box and follow the road wheels better.
The Renault FT-17 was a French light tank of the First World War and one of the first tanks with a rotating turret. It became the pattern for the classic layout of a tank and, in different forms, served long after the First World War.
Assembling workable tracks takes effort: separate the links on a cutting surface and join them with cyanoacrylate glue, checking the sag as you go. Degrease the metal and prime it. Paint the tracks a dark steel shade and pick them out with dust and rust effects.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
