An injection-molded plastic kit from Mirror Models in 1:35 scale. The model captures the American tracked military bulldozer of the kind the US Army used for engineer work during the Second World War and after it. The box contains plastic parts, a clear part, a photo-etched sheet and decals for several variants.
The subject is a heavy tracked bulldozer of the Caterpillar D7 type, a robust engineer machine with a blade and a winch. It served for earthworks, building roads, clearing obstacles and preparing field airstrips. Thanks to its power and reliability it became one of the key tools of the engineer and supply troops.
Finish the running gear and the engine section before you close up the body. Assemble the workable tracks carefully so that they sit correctly on the wheels. Bring the basic earth or olive finish to life with washes and pigments for deposits of mud and dust, and wear the blade down with a metallic sheen.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
