A plastic kit of the British Universal Carrier tracked carrier in the Wasp Mk IIC flamethrower version, 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Universal Carrier is a small tracked armored carrier of British origin and in the Second World War it was among the most widespread machines of its class. Its low open hull, the engine in the middle and the crew seated around it made it a universal vehicle for reconnaissance, communication, towing light weapons and carrying materiel. The Wasp is its flamethrower conversion: at the front of the hull it carried a flame projector instead of a machine gun. On the Mk IIC version the tank of flammable mixture was mounted externally at the rear of the vehicle, so there was extra room inside for another crew member.
An unassembled plastic kit in 1:35 scale. The number of parts, the type of tracks, the extent of the accessories and the range of marking options are stated in the manufacturer's instructions and on the box. The vehicle itself is small, so even in this scale the finished model stays small, and the inside of the open hull stands out all the more on it.
The open hull can be seen into, so assemble and paint the inside before you fit the sides and the front. Leave the flame projector and its plumbing until the very end, so that they do not break off during handling. Sand the joints between the parts and check them against the light, and with the tracks take care that they bed onto the road wheels. Apply the paint in thin coats and then accentuate the depths with a darker glaze, otherwise the model visually merges into one surface.
Paints, glue, putty and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
