Responsibility details are not available.
A resin kit in 1:35 scale from LZ models, intended for experienced modelers. It represents the American sheepsfoot engineer compactor roller in the single-drum configuration. The model is made up of cast resin parts; in sets of this type the characteristic feet on the drum tend to be separate pieces that are glued onto the cylindrical drum.
Sheepsfoot rollers were built by the American firm R. G. LeTourneau, whose earthmoving and construction machines played a substantial part in Allied engineer work during the Second World War. The towed compactor roller with conical feet kneaded and compacted soil while field roads, airfields and crossings were being built. The roller was towed behind a tractor or a bulldozer.
First wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and cut off the casting blocks. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); use respiratory protection while sanding. We recommend applying a primer and then spraying the shades with an airbrush. Because this is a working machine, mud and dust effects, washes and pigments on the drum and the chassis stand out above all.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
