Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German heavy anti-tank gun 12.8 cm K44 L/55 of Rheinmetall design, 1:35 scale, made by Great Wall Hobby. The set holds photo-etched parts and metal springs and wire for the suspension of the carriage and the brake lines; the model is built unassembled and unpainted.
The K44 gun of 128 mm caliber was among the heaviest German anti-tank guns of the Second World War. It came about as a competing design from Rheinmetall, with Krupp preparing a parallel design, and with its long L/55 barrel it reached high muzzle velocity and penetration. The gun is also associated with the designation Pak 44.
The decision whether to build the gun in the firing or the travel position comes at an early stage of the build, so think the final scene through in advance. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), and fit the metal springs according to the instructions. After spraying the base coat, choose a German scheme; bring out the recesses with a wash and round the barrel and the carriage out with fine dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
