The set holds six miniature injection-molded models of the SB2U carrier scout bomber in 1:350 scale. It is an accessory to a model of an American aircraft carrier - you can place the aircraft on the deck or in the hangar. Decals with US Navy markings are included.
The Vought SB2U, known as the Vindicator, was a single-engine all-metal low-wing monoplane and one of the first modern carrier dive bombers of the US Navy. It entered service in the second half of the 1930s and was also used at the beginning of the Second World War.
The parts are small in this scale, so separate them with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic in small drops. For period markings, gloss yellow upper wing surfaces and the colored fuselage bands of American carrier service work well. They can also be painted while on the sprue.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
