A finished collector model of the Skoda 1201 of 1956 in the taxi version, 1:43 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Skoda 1201 took to Czechoslovak roads in the middle of the 1950s and quickly became a car for work. The sedan and the utility versions served companies, the health service and above all the taxi trade, where they covered hundreds of thousands of kilometers. The car therefore stayed in the memory of a generation that knew it from the street and not from exhibition halls, and among collectors of Czechoslovak subjects it remains a fixture to this day.
The model captures the taxi version of the car and is made in 1:43 scale. It is supplied finished, so it needs neither building nor painting. In this scale the range of historic Czechoslovak cars is wide, so the model fits well into a collection already under way.
Place the model in a display case or on a shelf where direct sunlight does not reach; ultraviolet light harms shades in the long term. Remove dust with a soft brush or a dry cloth, and avoid damp cleaning and preparations with solvents. When carrying the model, take hold of it by the body, because thin parts such as the mirrors, the wipers or the antenna break off easily.
It suits collectors of models of domestic production, those interested in the history of transport and makes a gift for those who remember the car. It will also serve modelers who are building a scene from the 1950s and do not want to go to the trouble of building a car from a plastic kit for it.
This is a finished collector model; you need neither paints nor glue for it, unless stated otherwise.
