This product is a finished collector's model, not a kit. It comes completely assembled, painted and printed, so once unpacked it only needs placing in the display case. The model is released by the Czech maker Abrex and captures the ambulance version of the Skoda 1202 as it looked in 1964, with the marking ZS Praha 134. The materials used, the number of opening parts and the dimensions are given by the manufacturer on the packaging of the model.
The Skoda 1202 was a Czech utility variant derived from the passenger range built in Mlada Boleslav. The car had a unitary body, a four-cylinder gasoline engine at the front and rear-wheel drive, and it was built in many forms, from the estate through the van and the pick-up to special bodies. The ambulance version was one of the most widespread and for many years belonged among the typical vehicles of the Czechoslovak health service. That is exactly why it is a period classic among collectors.
A collector's model is a finished product with fine printing, which is best not washed or varnished over. Remove dust from it with a soft brush or with compressed air at low pressure, and do not use solvents on the printed surfaces. Keep the model out of direct sunlight so that the colors do not fade, and when handling it hold it by the chassis or the roof, not by the mirrors and fine fittings. If you collect in a single 1:43 scale, the model goes well with other period Czech cars.
