A finished collector model of the competition coupe Skoda 200 RS of 1974 with the starting number 20, 1:43 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Skoda 200 RS was a sports coupe built in Mlada Boleslav as a competition special. It stayed at a handful of cars and never reached series production, yet it is an important milestone in Czechoslovak motoring history: the experience from building it fed into the later competition cars of the marque and into the whole line of sports coupes. For a collector it is therefore a rare subject that is not often met with.
The model captures the car in competition trim with the starting number 20, in 1:43 scale. It is supplied finished: it is not built, glued or painted, so it only has to be unpacked and placed in a display case. The 1:43 scale is the most widespread for collector cars, so the model matches the other cars in a collection in size.
Place the model out of direct sunlight, because the bright colors of competition trim fade fastest in the light. Wipe dust off with a soft brush or a dry cloth; the printed starting numbers and lettering are delicate and will take neither damp cleaning nor solvents. When handling the model, hold it by the body, not by the fine parts.
The model will please collectors of domestic automotive subjects and admirers of the competition cars of the 1970s. It also works well in a display case next to other racing Skodas or as a gift for a fan of the marque.
This is a finished collector model; you need neither paints nor glue for it, unless stated otherwise.
