A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from Print Scale, the second part of the series devoted to the American Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress heavy bomber. It offers national insignia, unit codes and personal markings. It serves as an alternative or a supplement to the kit decals; the airplane model itself has to be bought separately.
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress was an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War. It became famous for daylight strategic bombing over Europe, for its heavy defensive armament and for its ability to absorb considerable combat damage. The machines carried striking personal artwork and unit emblems, which makes them a rewarding subject for modelers.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss clear coat, which prevents silvering. Dip the part briefly in lukewarm water and slide it off the backing onto its place once it has softened. We recommend using a decal softener and finally sealing the surface with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.
This is a set of waterslide decals, not an airplane model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
