A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:48 for the Flying Fortress, usable on both main combat forms of this bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
The designation in the name brings together two versions of the famous four engine bomber that stood side by side on the same airfields. The older of them left the first line gradually, the newer one replaced it piece by piece, so both could be met at once in one formation. The sheet is therefore conceived so as to suit a modeler regardless of which of the two forms he happens to have built.
The differences between them lay in defensive armament and in details of the glazing, but the fuselage, the fin and the areas the markings were applied to stayed practically unchanged. That is exactly why it made sense to release printing for both together. For a build that yields a practical point: before you start applying them, compare the form of your kit with a photograph of the machine you want to build from the period, because the details of the nose are what decide which variant a model belongs to.
For decals it is better to reach for distilled water. Tap water holds calcium salts and after drying it leaves whitish tidemarks around a motif that are hard to remove from matte varnish. If they do appear, carefully wiping with a damp cloth before the area has dried out completely will help. Torn printing can be saved as well; it is enough to lay both parts side by side and cover the join with the final varnish.
The package consists of a printed sheet for 1:48 size. A plastic model, glue and paints are not part of it.
