This set from DEF Model brings replacement wheels in 1:48 scale meant for the British DINGO Mk.II armored scout car of the Second World War. The wheels are cast to suit the Tamiya kit.
The wheels are cast in quality modeling resin and faithfully imitate the period tread of the tires as well as the detail of the rims. The resin castings stand out with sharp definition of a kind the plastic parts from the kit usually do not reach, and they noticeably raise the realism of the finished model.
Before gluing, it is best to wash the parts and remove the casting gates. The set is a marked improvement to the chassis of this small scout vehicle.
