A waterslide decal sheet from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models for models of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 F-8 ground attack version in 1:48 scale. The F-8 version was the attack derivative of the Fw 190 fighter, adapted to carry bombs and to work over the battlefield. The product is an accessory, not a kit: it serves to mark a model that is already built and painted.
The sheet brings three camouflage schemes, that is three complete sets of national insignia, individual codes and supplementary lettering. The printing is done in saturated colors on a thin carrier film in accurate register. The sheet of schemes enclosed in the package shows where the individual designs go; follow it, because the position of the codes differs from machine to machine.
First varnish the area under the decal with gloss clear coat, otherwise a milky edge will appear around the carrier film. Cut the design out closely, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest. Slide the decal onto the dampened place, adjust the position with a soft brush and soak the water up with absorbent paper. Use a softener on the engraved lines and panel joints, so that the film follows the surface. Once it has dried perfectly, unify the whole model with a matte or semi-matte varnish.
This is a decal sheet, not a kit. The model, paints, glue and varnishes are not included in the package.
