A waterslide decal sheet in 1:48 scale from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models. It holds a complete set of technical stencils for the two-seat MiG-21 UM trainer of the Hungarian Air Force. It is an accessory for a model, not a kit: the stencils are added to the national and color markings and give the surface of the aircraft realism.
The MiG-21 UM is the two-seat trainer version of the celebrated Soviet supersonic MiG-21 fighter. It served to train pilots and stayed in service with the Hungarian Air Force for decades. The surface of the aircraft carried a great many small maintenance and warning markings around the panels, the filler necks and the moving surfaces.
Apply the stencils over a smooth gloss clear coat and work with tweezers and a magnifier, as these are very small items. Lay them out according to the documentation for the particular version. Once dry, go over them with a matte or semi-gloss varnish and settle them with a softener, so that they key into the engraved lines.
This is a decal sheet in its own right. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
