The fourth part of this series of decals in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker AML concentrates on the night fighter versions Bristol Beaufighter Mk.IF and Mk.VIF. The set offers the markings of particular RAF machines that carried the AI Mk.IV airborne radar. AML is a Czech maker with accurate registration and a thin carrier film.
The Mk.IF and Mk.VIF versions were the night fighters of the Beaufighter with powerful cannon armament; their identifying feature was the radar aerials on the nose and on the leading edges of the wings. These machines defended the British Isles against night raids. The set brings code letters, serial numbers and national insignia matching the night camouflage of the period.
Go over the base with gloss varnish, release the decal in warm water, place it and squeeze the remaining water out with a cloth; a softener helps with the detail. Finally, even the surface out with a matte or semi-gloss coat.
This is an add-on decal sheet. The model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
