This photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard is meant to improve the ejection seats of British F-4 Phantom machines. It is not a kit of an airplane but a detail accessory that replaces the simplified parts from the base kit with more accurate photo-etched elements. British Phantoms differed from the American ones in the details of the cockpit and of the seats, and this set matches that.
Kit seats tend to be simplified in shape and without fine detail. The photo-etched set fills in the belts, the handles and other elements that make the seats look realistic. The pattern matches the British version of the Phantom, so it suits models of British F-4 machines in 1:48 scale.
Separate the parts carefully and bend them exactly along the marked lines. The pre-printed elements do not have to be painted; the metal parts are tuned by repainting to match the real thing. They are glued with glue for photo-etch or with a small drop of super glue.
This is a photo-etched detail accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
