The Kits-World 3D color instrument panels for the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-3 1:48 are relief color decals for the cabin of the single-engine fighter aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set is an accessory, not a kit. The full-color print on decal paper carries a raised relief, so once applied the gauges and their bezels have a depth of their own and do not stay a merely painted surface. The set is intended for the A-3 variant, that is, the early series of the type with the radial engine.
The Fw 190 A-3 belonged to the first series in which both the armament and the layout of the pilot's area settled down. The cabin was tight compared with the rivals of its day and clearly laid out, with the instrument panel divided into a flight and an engine part. The type was built in an enormous number of variants, so with models it pays to watch which series an interior accessory is intended for.
Do not underrate the final varnish. Once dry, a relief decal has a slightly different gloss from the surrounding plastic; a thin layer of matte varnish across the whole panel evens the difference out and at the same time protects the edges against peeling during further work in the cabin. If you want the impression of glass dials, apply a drop of gloss varnish to the individual gauges with the tip of a toothpick after the matting — the effect is striking and in 1:48 scale clearly readable.
It is a modeling accessory. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. We recommend checking the match with your own kit.
