This item is a decal sheet in 1:48 scale, not a model of an aircraft. According to the name it contains four reproductions of the badge of Försökscentralen, FC for short - the Swedish establishment at which aircraft and equipment were tested. The badge suits models of machines that served with the test unit, and it is a detail you will practically never find in an ordinary kit.
Unit badges decide whether a model reads as a particular machine or as an anonymous type. Four pieces on the sheet mean that it will be enough for several models, or that you have a spare in case one decal is damaged during application. Other markings - serials, numbers and technical lettering - are not on the sheet unless that is expressly stated.
Decals belong on a glossy base; a flat coat has a microscopically broken-up surface and a white veil, so-called silvering, would appear under the film. Cut the sheet as closely as possible around the motif, so that the carrier film is kept to a minimum. Just dip the decal in lukewarm water and let it rest on the paper until it can be moved - a long soak washes the adhesive out. Put a little water on the spot, slide the decal over, draw the excess off with a cloth and use decal softener, so that the film is drawn down to the surface. Once it has dried, go over it with gloss clear and finally even the surface out with a flat coat.
The decals are supplied on their own. The model, clear coat and decal softener are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
