German Luftwaffe Air Security WWII 1:48 - a colored photo-etched set of rank insignia from Eduard for figures of the Luftwaffe airfield security of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set from Eduard in 1:48 scale in a pre-colored finish. It holds the rank insignia and patches of the airfield security units of the German Luftwaffe of the Second World War period: collar patches, shoulder boards and other insignia in the appropriate branch color. The set serves for detailing figures or for a diorama. It is not a model but an accessory for figures.
In Germany during the Second World War the airfield security and guard units came under the Luftwaffe and protected the airfields and the rear areas. Their members wore Luftwaffe uniforms with rank insignia and the branch color of their specialization. These small features are hard to paint in a small scale.
The small pre-colored insignia are carefully removed from the sheet and glued to the relevant places on the figure's uniform with super glue. Tweezers make the work easier; once the insignia are in place they can be brought out lightly.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a standalone model. Figures are not included in the package.
