A colored self-adhesive (S.A.) photo-etched set of the Eduard brand in 1:48 scale aimed at the interior of the Westland Sea King helicopter in the HAR.Mk.3 version. It is not a model but an accessory (a detail set) that adds pre-painted metal details of the cockpit and the cabin. The self-adhesive colored parts speed the build up and raise the fidelity.
The Sea King HAR.Mk.3 was the British search and rescue (SAR) version of the Sea King helicopter, operated above all by the Royal Air Force. It served to rescue the shipwrecked and people in distress over the sea as well as over land. The arrangement of the interior and the instruments of this version has its own particulars, which the set answers to.
The colored parts are pre-painted; with the self-adhesive ones peel the protective film off and press them on. Separate the other parts from the fret with a sharp knife and glue them with super glue. Degrease the surfaces before seating the parts.
The accessory is supplied unassembled. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
