A set of self-adhesive vinyl painting masks from the manufacturer GasPatch, cut to fit a Henschel Hs 123 model in 1:48 scale. A vinyl (film) mask follows curved surfaces well and defines the canopy framing exactly when spraying. It is not a paint or a part of the model but an aid for clean masking. A paper variant of the same set also exists; this one is vinyl.

Use

• Peel the mask off the backing and place it exactly on the canopy frame and the clear areas.
• Press the edges down carefully; on curves the mask follows the shape well.
• Spray with an airbrush and remove the mask once the paint is dry.
• Cover the surrounding areas before spraying because of overspray.
