1:48 Kawasaki Ki-61-Id Hien TFace

Painting Masks Ki-61-Id Hien TFace 1:48 (Eduard)

A set of Eduard painting masks of kabuki tape for a Kawasaki Ki-61-Id Hien model in 1:48 scale. The TFace designation means that the set contains masks for both the outer and the inner side of the glazing. Thanks to that the canopy frames can be painted from both sides, that is in the interior color from inside and in the exterior color from outside. It is not a paint or a part of the model but a masking aid for clean framing.

Use

• Stick the inner masks onto the glazing from inside and spray the interior color.
• Once the part is dry, mask the glazing from outside and spray the exterior color.
• Press the edges of the masks down carefully so that paint cannot run under them.
• Remove the masks shortly after the paint has dried for a crisp edge.

Who the set is for

For modelers of the Ki-61 Hien in 1:48 scale who want realistic canopy framing on both sides. TFace masks will be appreciated above all by those whose cockpit interior is visible through the glazing.
