Quickwheel M1 Abrams 1:48 — wheel masks

A set of spray masks for separating the rubber tire band from the metal rim of the road wheels quickly and cleanly. The masks follow the shape of the wheels of the American M1 Abrams main battle tank and let the rubber band be sprayed with no brushwork and no paint bleeding. They are not parts of the model but an aid for painting, for a model in 1:48 scale.

Use

• Spray the wheel in the base metal shade and let it dry.
• Lay the mask on and press it down with a wooden skewer all the way around; do not stretch it.
• Spray the dark rubber shade and lift the mask off once it has flashed off.
• Depending on their condition, the masks can be used repeatedly.

For builders of modern armored equipment in 1:48 scale who want to speed up painting the road wheels and gain a sharp transition between rubber and metal. The M1 Abrams is an American main battle tank with a gas turbine, introduced from the 1980s.

The set contains masks only. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
