1:48 Nesher/Dagger is a set of self-adhesive Eduard painting masks in 1:48 scale for a model of the Nesher/Dagger type. It is not a model but an accessory for painting the glazing and the wheels.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks in kabuki tape for a model of the IAI Nesher, or Dagger, fighter in 1:48 scale. The masks make it easier to spray the frames of the glazed cockpit and the wheel discs cleanly, without laborious cutting. It is not a kit — it is an accessory used while painting a finished or part-built model. Eduard is a Czech maker of modeling accessories.
The IAI Nesher was an Israeli single-engined fighter with a delta wing, based on the design of the Dassault Mirage 5. Israel began building it with its own resources after the French embargo. The export version delivered to Argentina carried the designation Dagger and was deployed in the Falklands conflict in 1982.
The pre-cut masks in self-adhesive kabuki tape are stuck onto the cockpit glazing and onto the wheel discs, pressed into the engraved lines of the frames with a pointed wooden stick, and then the area is sprayed. Once the paint has dried the tape is lifted off and the framing stays clean and crisp. An airbrush gives an even coat. The delta wing and the simpler glazing make accurate application of the masks easier.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The kit itself, the paints and the glue are not included in the package and are obtained separately.
