1:48 North American B-25D Mitchell TFace is an Eduard masking set in the TFace form, that is with templates for the outer and the inner side of the glazing of a model in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit or a photo-etched set.

This item belongs to Eduard's masking range, and to its double-sided variant designated TFace. The difference from the same manufacturer's ordinary mask is fundamental: an ordinary set covers only the outer side of the glazing, whereas TFace additionally holds a second set of templates cut for the inner side. And it differs from full photo-etched sets, pre-painted Zoom sets, the Brassin resin range and decals not only in its contents but above all in its purpose: a mask does not stay on the model but is removed once the painting is done.
On glazed cockpits, what is visible from within is not only the glass but the whole surface of the frame. When the frame is painted from the outside only, a light plastic line stays visible through the glass and gives the finished model away. The inner templates therefore make it possible to spray the frames in the interior color from within and in the fuselage color from outside, so the result matches reality. On a bomber with an extensively glazed nose and waist positions the difference tells far more than on a fighter.
Stick the inner masks down and spray the interior shade before you glue the glazed part into the fuselage, as afterwards you will not reach the inner side. Wash the parts beforehand in lukewarm water with a detergent and let them dry, as a mask holds poorly on a greasy surface. Seat the outer templates dry with tweezers and press the edges down with a blunt tool. Spray the paint in several thin coats, as a heavy coat will create a step at the edge of the mask. Lift them only once the paint has dried, drawing them off sideways at an angle.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
