A colored photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale, meant for the detailed improvement of the interior of a model. It is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory: fine metal parts, some of which are printed in color in advance and self-adhesive. They replace the flat plastic details of the instrument panels, the cockpit sidewalls and other elements of the pilot's compartment with more convincing shapes that look three-dimensional.
The Grumman OV-1 Mohawk was an American twin-engine turboprop observation and reconnaissance aircraft with a crew of two sitting side by side. The OV-1D version carried interchangeable reconnaissance equipment, including a side-looking radar and infrared sensors. It was put into action above all with the US Army.
Lay the colored self-adhesive parts straight onto cleaned plastic, and glue the parts that are not self-adhesive on with super glue. For the bends use a polished edge or a bending tool, so that the lines stay crisp. We recommend trying the run dry first.
This is a photo-etched accessory, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
