It is a set of photo-etched metal parts for filling out the interior of a Su-30M2 model in 1:48 scale. Photo-etching gives thin metal faces with sharp edges and fine engraving, that is, a thickness that cannot be achieved with plastic parts. It suits anywhere the detail is meant to be crisp and flat. What exactly this set covers and which kit it is cut for are given in the manufacturer's instructions. Check that against the kit you are building, because they are shaped to fit the particular parts of a kit.
The Su-30M2 belongs to the family of Soviet and Russian combat aircraft derived from the Su-27, for which the name Flanker took hold in the West. It is the two-seat version, where the seats lie one behind the other under the glazing of the canopy. That is exactly why work on the interior pays off with this machine: under the long canopy a great deal more is visible than on a single-seat aircraft.
The abbreviation S.A. in the name denotes the self-adhesive form, so the items have an adhesive layer on the back and are applied without glue. The surface must be dry, smooth and degreased, otherwise the part will not take hold. For the parts that do not have an adhesive layer, reach for super glue, because modeling cement for plastic will not join metal.
