A set of wet decals in 1:48 scale for models of the American Bell P-39 Airacobra fighter, nicknamed the Kobra in Soviet service. The set concentrates on the aircraft of Soviet fighter aces and holds national insignia and individual markings for supplementing or replacing the decals on a kit. It offers several finishes to choose from.
The Bell P-39 Airacobra was an American fighter with the engine mounted behind the pilot and nosewheel landing gear. Under Lend-Lease deliveries it proved itself on a large scale with the Soviet Air Force, where a number of pilots reached high victory tallies on it; the aircraft of the aces carried bold personal markings.
Apply the decals on a smooth, gloss, degreased finish. After soaking, let the decal rest, slide it into place and press the surplus water out gently. Decal softening solutions work well for settling onto engraving and detail. Finally go over everything with varnish to the degree of sheen you want.
