A resin figure of a Soviet pilot with an ejection seat for the Su-22 / Su-25 in 1:48 scale from Aerobonus. A figure to be painted; this is not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure to be painted, not a model. This resin casting from the Czech brand Aerobonus (Aires) in 1:48 scale shows a Soviet pilot and comes with an ejection seat for Su-22 and Su-25 kits. The figure brings a cockpit or an airfield scene to life and is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Sukhoi Su-22 was an export fighter-bomber with variable-geometry wings, while the Su-25 is a ground-attack aircraft for close support of ground troops. Both machines were part of the equipment of the Soviet and allied air forces during the Cold War. A pilot in modern flight gear with a helmet therefore rounds off a model of either type naturally.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Try both the seat and the figure dry in the cockpit before installing them. Apply a primer before painting; an airbrush handles the flight suit and the seat, a brush the face and the details. A wash brings out the straps and the details of the gear.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin casting. Glue, paints and the airplane model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
