Mask set for the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX (1:48, HGW)

Masking stencils in fine tape for a model of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX fighter in 1:48 scale from HGW. The masks are machine die-cut to the shape of the individual parts of the glazing, so cutting tape out by hand falls away. They make it possible to achieve sharp, accurate frames on the Spitfire's typical bubble canopy.

Use

• Transfer the masks onto the glazing according to the diagram enclosed.
• Spray the color of the frames, and with multicolor schemes work layer by layer.
• Masks for the wheel hubs, for a clean transition between hub and tire, are usually included.
• The tape follows curves well and leaves no adhesive behind when peeled off.

For modelers building the Spitfire Mk.IX who want clean canopy frames with a minimum of work. Suitable for less experienced builders as well.
