1:48 Su-15 TM Flagon-F BASIC kabuki masks

Su-15TM Flagon-F 1:48 - BASIC kabuki masks, New Ware

This is a masking set, not an airplane kit. The set from New Ware contains pre-cut self-adhesive masks in fine kabuki tape for the Soviet interceptor Sukhoi Su-15TM (Flagon-F) in 1:48 scale. The BASIC level is the basic one: it covers the outer cockpit glazing, further clear parts and the wheels. The masks are shaped for a particular kit of the given type in this scale and follow the frames of the canopy as well as the outline of the tires, so cutting tape with a knife directly on the model is no longer needed.

Use

• Degrease the clear parts before masking and let them dry, otherwise a mask will not hold.
• Lift the mask from the sheet with tweezers, seat it according to the frame of the glazing and press it down around the edge.
• Spray the primer and the opaque camouflage - the edges of the frames will then come out sharp and with nothing seeping under.
• The wheel masks separate the tire from the hub, and you then spray the hub separately.
• Lift the mask once the coat has become tacky, not after it has hardened completely.

Who the set is for

For modelers who build the Su-15TM in 1:48 scale and want fast, clean masking. The basic BASIC level is suitable for the less experienced as well - using masks is more reliable than cutting tape by hand.

An accessory for a model, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package. When spraying, work in a ventilated space and use a respirator.
