A set of etched seat belts for the cockpit of a model in 1:48 scale. The name states the material: the belts are of steel, which matters for this kind of part. An etched steel belt can be left in a turned position after bending, so the ends can hang freely over the edge of the seat or lie folded across the frame, instead of sticking out straight like a plastic molding. How many seats the set covers and how the individual parts go together are given in the instructions enclosed with the set.
The Su-30SM is a Russian two-seat multirole combat aircraft from the family derived from the Su-27. The crew sits in tandem, one behind the other, under a common canopy, so the cockpit is clearly visible on a finished model and the seat belts in it are among the first things the eye catches.
