A pre-painted photo-etched set aimed at the cockpit of a model of the British Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Ia fighter in 1:48 scale. It brings a color instrument panel and a seat harness along with other small interior details. Thanks to the printed colors, the laborious painting of the finest elements falls away. It is not a model but a detail accessory.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Ia was an early version of the legendary British fighter with a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine and eight .303 caliber machine guns. It made its name above all during the Battle of Britain, where it was among the mainstays of the fighter defense of the Royal Air Force.
The color etched parts do not have to be repainted, it is enough to separate them carefully and glue them on. Glue the instrument panel and the harness with cyanoacrylate glue, or flat parts can be held down with varnish. Shape the harness so that it looks soft and natural.
This is an accessory set, not a complete model. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
