1:48 Z-126 TFace

Eduard 1:48 Z-126 TFace mask

A set of self-adhesive masking templates made from fine Japanese kabuki tape by the Czech manufacturer Eduard, intended for models of the Czechoslovak Zlin Z-126 Trener trainer in 1:48 scale. The TFace version means that the set holds masks not only for the outer side of the glazing but for its inner side as well, so the canopy frame can be painted from both sides.

The real subject

The Zlin Z-126 Trener was a Czechoslovak two-seat training and sport aircraft of the 1950s, popular for pilot training and with flying clubs. It belongs to the extensive and successful Zlin Trener family of aircraft.

Use

• Degrease the glazing and remove the dust.
• Apply the outer masks to the outside of the glazing and the inner masks to the interior side.
• Paint the inner framing first and the outer camouflage afterwards.
• Lift the mask shortly after the paint has dried.

Who the set is for

• Modelers who care about a clean canopy frame seen from the inside as well as from the outside.
• Builders looking to save time over cutting tape by hand.

This is an accessory to a plastic kit, not a standalone model. Paints and the kit are not included in the package.
