This is a printed paper accessory intended for 1:6 scale, that is for large figures and the weapons and equipment belonging to them. It is not a kit and not a waterslide decal. The sheet carries the small logos and labels that appear on weapons and on pieces of equipment; the modeler cuts them out and places them in the appropriate spot.
With small labels the cut decides more than anything else, because an inaccuracy of a tenth of a millimeter shows at once on a label a few millimeters across. Work with a fresh blade, cut on a hard mat and make several light strokes rather than one heavy one. It proves itself to cut a rough rectangle around the motif and only then to trim to the final shape under a magnifier. Set the cut-out pieces aside on a piece of adhesive tape with the sticky side up, otherwise they are easily lost.
Weapons and equipment rarely have a flat surface. So dampen the paper lightly from the back, so that it softens, and press it into shape with a cotton bud; dose the glue with the tip of a toothpick or a wire, not with a brush. A PVA or matte glue that leaves no glossy edge is suitable. On markedly curved surfaces it helps to nick the label from one side, so that it can be laid down without a crease.
Once dry, spray the spot with a weak layer of matte clear coat; that joins the label to the surrounding surface and it stops coming across as glued-on paper. A light patina of dust or a wash afterward brings the shade in line with the overall look of the object.
