Against The Tamil Tigers 1983 to 2008 in 1:72 scale is a decal sheet from DP Casper focused on the aircraft markings of the conflict in Sri Lanka.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit but a set of decals in 1:72 scale. The theme is the markings of aircraft deployed during the long armed conflict in Sri Lanka between 1983 and 2008. The sheet serves to give a model you have already built a particular unit and period.
Decals are laid on a smooth gloss surface, as a matte coat has a microscopic structure that traps air underneath and the decal then silvers. The sequence is: paint, a gloss clear compatible with the paint used, the decals, a decal softener, then once dry seal with another clear coat and finally even everything out with a matte or semi-gloss layer. Cut the sheet as close as possible around the motif and dip it briefly; a longer bath washes the adhesive away. On riveted and engraved surfaces use a decal softener and let the decal settle by itself rather than pressing on it. Older sheets tend to be more brittle, so if you are unsure, go over them before use with a thin coat of gloss clear from a spray can, which strengthens the carrier film.
This is a decal sheet, not a kit. An aircraft model, paints and clear coats are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
