A sheet of water-slide decals Kits-World 1:72 Boeing B-17E for marking a model of the four-engine bomber in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A standalone sheet of water-slide decals in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Kits-World, intended for a model of the four-engine bomber Boeing B-17E. This is not a kit but a printed accessory with which you will supplement or replace the markings of a finished model. The particular contents of the sheet and the number of machines worked out are given by the overview on the sheet itself and by the enclosed instructions.
The B-17E was the first version of the Flying Fortress with a fundamentally reworked rear. It was given a tall dorsal fin surface with a pronounced leading edge and newly also a defensive station in the tail section, which changed the whole rear outline of the aircraft compared with the older series. This version began service at the start of the war deployment and became the starting shape from which the following, more numerously produced versions of the bomber proceeded.
With a bomber in 1:72 scale one works with large decals, typically the national insignia on the wings and extensive codes on the fuselage. A large film is delicate and breaks easily, so transfer it to the model together with the backing paper, lay it in place and pull the paper out from under it. Moisten the area thoroughly beforehand, so that the decal can be slid, and even it out with a soft flat brush from the center toward the edges. Draw the water off gradually and without rubbing. Only after that come the softener and the fixing clear coat.
The package contains decals only. The model, paints and clear coat are not part of it.
