This item is not a model but a set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from the Czech publisher ROP o.s. It adds national insignia, squadron codes and personal markings of Royal Air Force machines to a kit of the British twin-engine fighter and attack aircraft Bristol Beaufighter Mk.X. The decals extend the marking options beyond the basic kit.
The Bristol Beaufighter was a British twin-engine multirole aircraft with a pair of Bristol Hercules radial engines. The Mk.X version was a Coastal Command strike aircraft intended against shipping; it carried a torpedo or unguided rockets and heavy gun armament. Because of its quiet approach to a target it earned the nickname Whispering Death. It was used over the sea and in other theaters as well.
Coat the area under the decals with gloss varnish so that the edges do not turn white. Dip the motif in lukewarm water for a few seconds and slide it onto the model. A softener will help the decal wrap around the panel lines, and a final coat of varnish unifies the surface.
This is a decal set, not a model. To use it you need a separate kit of the Beaufighter Mk.X in 1:72 scale. Paints, glue and varnish are not included in the package.
