A kit of the BSS P93S cargo trailer in 1:72 scale. A trailer is an unobtrusive but rewarding subject: it complements a truck model, brings a convoy to life or stands as a diorama of its own, and it takes up only a couple of centimeters on the shelf.
The BSS brand is one of the traditional Czechoslovak makers of towed equipment, and trailers from its production were a common sight in road traffic, running behind heavy trucks in civilian service and with the army alike. The P93S type carried cargo behind a towing vehicle, so in a diorama it fits naturally into a military convoy and into a civilian scene on home roads.
In a small scale the impression is decided mainly by the chassis and the wheels, so give them care when cleaning up and gluing. Choose the color scheme to match the vehicle the trailer will run behind, then even out the surface with a light wash that brings out the ribbing and the edges. Dusting the wheel arches and the load bed with pigments gives the trailer traces of service, and a load made from modeling accessories turns the model into a small diorama in its own right.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
