The most complete level of masking in 1:72 for the C-123 family, including the small windows, the navigation lights and the inner sides of the glazing.
Responsibility details are not available.
A high-wing aircraft with a short takeoff run and large doors at the rear proved an ideal basis for conversions. Besides carrying troops and materiel it gave rise to a night attack machine with sensors and searchlights, which hunted for truck convoys in the dark, and to an aircraft for coastal search and rescue.
On the later batches the radial engines were joined by a pair of jet units, so the aircraft could lift off a muddy strip even with a full load. A number of machines ended their service with foreign air forces, where they carried supplies long after the end of their wartime use.
The Expert package goes furthest of the three: besides the glazing and the wheels it also deals with the small windows, the navigation lights and the back of the glazed areas, thanks to which the frame stays in the interior color when seen from inside the cockpit.
For its size this aircraft has surprisingly extensive glazing. Besides the front panels ahead of the pilots there are the side windows of the cockpit and a row of small ports along the fuselage, which are hard to outline with a brush and take a great deal of time.
Apply the masks to the back of the windows before you join the fuselage halves, because later you will not get to them. The same rule applies to the small ports in the sides of the fuselage, which are hidden behind the frames once the model is glued together.
