Decals for the Dornier Do 215 B and Do 17 S, part one, 1:72 from the Hungarian brand HAD models are a sheet of waterslide decals with the period markings of these twin-engine aircraft. It is an accessory for a model, not a kit.

The first part of a two-part range of sheets from HAD models with the period markings of the twin-engine Dornier Do 215 B and Do 17 S. The sheet is devoted to machines of several operators, among them Hungarian, Soviet and German, and serves as a replacement for or an addition to the decals from the box. The second part of the range is a separate item and the contents do not overlap.
The Do 17 belongs to the family of slender twin-engine aircraft with a narrow fuselage that came about in the middle of the 1930s. The S version was a reconnaissance pattern built in a small batch. The Do 215 B is a type derived from it with liquid-cooled inline engines, originally intended for export, with a glazed forward fuselage and a common cabin for the whole crew. Both types kept the characteristic twin vertical tail surfaces and were used on reconnaissance and bombing duties.
The nose glazing on these types is extensive, so the markings lie close to frames and engraving. Go over the base with gloss clear coat and cut the decals close to the artwork. Lay them down over a thin film of water, so that they can still be lined up against the engraved lines. Across frames and edges use a softener in several weak coats. Once it has dried perfectly, unify the surface with matte varnish and only then weather it, or the wash will run under the edges.
This is a sheet of decals in its own right, not a kit. The model, paints, varnishes and softeners are not included in the package.
