A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models, intended for the single-engine Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in the G-14 version. It holds markings for three camouflage variants. The package holds decals only, and neither the model nor paints are part of it.
The Bf 109 was a single-seat single-engine fighter of all-metal construction with a narrow fuselage, a liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine and landing gear retracting into the wing. The G family made up the most numerous line of the whole family, and within it the G-14 pattern came with pressurized injection, a tall wooden vertical tail on some machines and canopy glazing without the frame bracing. Small differences in equipment varied between production batches, which also affects the layout of the lettering.
Bf 109 camouflages often have a mottled transition on the sides of the fuselage, where the decals go onto a coarser texture of paint. Always spray gloss clear coat first, then. Cut the design out closely, soak it in lukewarm water and let it rest on absorbent paper. Once it has been moved onto the model, soak the water up and use a softener so that the film beds into the engraved lines on the fuselage and around the gun fairings. Small lettering settles more easily if you carry it into place with a brush dampened in clean water.
This is a decal sheet, not a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
