An aftermarket set of wet decals from the manufacturer AML for models of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit; it is a small sheet of slide decals for completing the markings and camouflage of a kit you have under way. It widens the possibilities beyond the decals from the box.
The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I was a British single-seat fighter with the Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engine. It played a key role in the Battle of Britain, where it formed the numerically strongest element of the RAF fighter force. It was marked out by a rugged mixed construction and eight-gun machine gun armament in the wings.
These are wet slide decals. Apply them on smooth gloss varnish, which prevents silvering under the film. Cut the individual subject out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and then slide it off the backing paper onto the model. Fine-tune the position, soak the surplus water away and support the settling with a decal softener. Once dry, even the surface out with a coat of varnish.
