A plastic kit of the Type 73 truck of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) in 1:72 scale from Aoshima. The model is molded in dark olive plastic and captures the characteristic off-road truck faithfully. The cargo bed offers a choice of the folding benches in the raised or the folded position. Clear cab parts are included.
The Type 73 is a family of all-wheel drive off-road trucks developed by a Japanese automaker for the Ground Self-Defense Force. It was taken into service in 1973 and serves to carry personnel and materiel. A whole family of derived special-purpose vehicles is based on this chassis.
We recommend assembling and painting the chassis and the drivetrain before finishing the body. For a realistic look, washes and pigments for dust and mud effects on the chassis and under the fenders suit it. Mask the clear cab parts while spraying.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
