1:72 Junkers Ju 87B Stuka - Invasion of Russia

Waterslide decals 1:72 Junkers Ju 87B Stuka - the invasion of Russia (ROP o.s.)

A set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale for a plastic model of the Junkers Ju 87B Stuka dive bomber. The subject concentrates on machines from the start of the campaign against the Soviet Union in 1941. It is a standalone decal set, not a kit; the decals are transferred by soaking in water.

The real subject

The Junkers Ju 87 Stuka was a German dive bomber with a cranked wing and fixed, faired landing gear. In the opening phase of the campaign in the east in 1941 the Ju 87B Stukas bore the main weight of the diving attacks on airfields, transport junctions and ground forces. The markings of the machines matched the rapid advance and the wide battlefield.

Use

• Cut the decal out and soak it in lukewarm water.
• Move it onto the surface of the model and adjust its position.
• Apply it onto gloss varnish; a decal softener is suitable.
• Once it has dried, go over it with matte or semi-gloss varnish.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building the Ju 87B in 1:72 scale.
• Anyone interested in the start of the fighting on the Eastern Front in 1941.
• Collectors of German aircraft.

This is a decal set. The aircraft model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
