Self-adhesive masks 1:72 for the training version Mitsubishi Ki-46 II Trainer Dinah from Dead Design: a clean spray of the busy glazing, including the raised instructor's position.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks in 1:72 scale for the training version of the reconnaissance aircraft Mitsubishi Ki-46 II. The training Dinah received a conspicuously raised rear cabin for the instructor, so the model carries even more glazed areas and frames than the standard version, an ideal case for masking instead of painting by hand.
The masks are transferred onto cleaned and degreased clear parts, the edges are pressed down and the glazing is sprayed together with the camouflage. The frame lines stay perfectly sharp, the paint does not creep under and the clear parts need no cleaning up afterwards. Once the paint has dried, the films are gently taken off with no adhesive residue. Suitable for an airbrush and for a brush.
The Mitsubishi Ki-46, designated Dinah by the Allies, served the Imperial Japanese Army as a fast strategic reconnaissance aircraft. Some of the machines of the II version were adapted for crew training; the conversion with a raised instructor's position made it possible to practice navigation and operation of the equipment, and these machines flew with training units until the end of the war.
This is a modeling accessory: the aircraft kit is not included in the package.
