1:72 Ki-61 II KAI Hien (Fastback), self-adhesive Dead Design masks for spraying the cabin canopy of the fighter Kawasaki Ki-61-II KAI Hien with the fastback rear fuselage in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Precisely cut self-adhesive Dead Design masks for masking the glazing of a model of the Japanese fighter Kawasaki Ki-61-II KAI Hien in the form with the fuselage spine continuing behind the cabin, the fastback, in 1:72 scale. A masking accessory for a kit, for painting the canopy frames quickly and cleanly.
The Ki-61-II KAI was a higher-performing development version of the Hien fighter with a more powerful inverted V12 engine, a larger wing and a reworked nose. The early production machines kept the original arrangement with the fuselage spine running on behind the cabin, while later examples received a cut-down fuselage with a bubble canopy. This set matches the form with the fastback rear fuselage, which differs from the bubble version in both the shape and the division of the glazing; the choice of masks therefore depends on the particular version of the model.
Transfer the small masks with tweezers, seat them on the panes of the canopy and smooth the edges down carefully. Spray the interior shade first, then the external camouflage, and take the masks off once dry. The frames stay sharp and uniform even in the small 1:72 scale.
This is a masking accessory: the airplane kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
